The title of this post fits perfectly. Less than 15 minutes after I sold the Wynn option, the stock took a nosedive and fell below my strike price. This could have been caused by a really bad overall market day, or because WYNN Q3 reporting is right around the corner. At any rate, all options are a gamble. I saw an opportunity to make a quick buck selling a WYNN Put.

Also, options chains look promising. October 13, at I do not know WYNN all this well, but it seems that a lot of Options traders do a lot of plays on it. October 13, at 9: LVS is more popular with dividend investors because the yield is a lot higher.

Wynn is announcing Q3 earnings at market close today. If the stock price today is any indication, many believe WYNN will post negative results. My contract expires tomorrow.

I notice your fees are sort of high for an options trade. You can get your commissions down a lot LOT at either Options House or Interactive Brokers.
